The academic year 2025 - 26 at Carmel English School Nanjangud began with great zeal on May 29th 2025. The Apostolic Carmel management and staff made a special effort to welcome the students, creating a positive environment. As the students entered the campus, flowers were showered upon them. The school premises were beautifully decorated with colourful banners and posters for the occasion. The event was graced by Sr. Maria Aruna A.C, the joint secretary along with Sr. Dorin Jaques the Headmistress and Sr. Renita Baretto A.C the assistant Headmistress. The programme began with prayer service. The co - ordinator Mrs. Bharathi and the sisters, student representatives were invited to the stage to light the diya. This act symbolized new beginnings and hopes for academic year. The Headmistress then gracefully welcomed the newly appointed staff members with roses. Later she addressed the students spoke about the school moto "Love and Service". She emphasized importance of maintaining cleanliness and discipline on the school campus. The joint secretary addressed the staff and students and motivated them to practice values in life. After the short programme sweets were distributed and students dispersed to there classes. These Teachers welcomed and extended their wishes for successful year ahead year for all the students.
