Investiture Ceremony

A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way". The Investiture ceremony for the academic year 2025-26 was held in Carmel English School, Nanjangud with great dignity. This solemn event began with a soulful prayer. Year after year this ceremony reminds us of the responsibility of the leaders who continue the legacy of their seniors. The occasion was graced by Sr. Maria Aruna AC, the joint secretary along with Sr. Dorin Jacques, the Headmistress, Sr. Renita Baretto AC, the assistant Headmistress and respected chief guest Mr Indresh, former CRP, Nanjangud cluster and present Headmaster Government School, Hejjige. The elected leaders accompanied by the chief guest and dignitaries marched to the auditorium led by the school band, reflecting discipline and pride. The elected school pupil leader were conferred with badges and sashes by the dignitaries symbolizing their responsibility. Everyone witnessed the oath taking ceremony where the student leaders Chandan.S , Kushi and assistant leaders Yajath J Swadi and Lokana Priya NM pledged to uphold the values and traditions of the school and perform their duties sincerely. Honourable chief guest congratulated the newly elected leaders and emphasised the significance of leadership that they must be the role models not only in the school but in every sphere of life. The ceremony culminated with a vote of thanks experssing gratitude to everyone who made the event a grand success followed by the recital of the National Anthem
