The Teachers' day celebration at Carmel School was held on September 4th in the school auditorium . The event was joyfully organizd by the school cabinet leaders to express gratitude and respect towards their teachers. The students greeted their teachers with Pooja thaali, symbolizing reverence. The students escorted the teachers to the auditorium with respect and joy.The members of the cabinet warmly welcomed the teachers with a heartfelt welcome speech highlighting the invaluable role teachers play in student's lives. The programme commenced with a meaningful prayer service conducted by the students for their beloved teachers. They prayed for the well being, happiness and long life of their mentors. The entertainment programme began wlth a delightful fashion show presented by the little ones, who beautifully represented the different states of India through their colourful costumes and graceful walk. Following this, students of different classes came forward with entertainment dances.Their performance was a tribute of love and gratitude towards the teachers. A thought provoking skit was then staged by the boys highlighting the difference between human teachres and robotic teachers. It emphasized that while technology can provide information, it is only human teachers who can inspire, guide and shape character with love and values . The celebration continued with a melodious song performance by 9th standard girls using piano and guitar. The harmonious music created a joyful atmosphere. As a mark of respect, our Headmistress Sr Dorin Jacques AC along with few teachers and cabinet leaders offered a floral tribute by showering flowers on the portrait of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan , whose life and ideals continue to inspire generations. The Headmistress then addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech , reminding the students about the importance of respecting teachers and following their guidance in life. She also added charm to the celebration by singing a melodious song ' Kalisu Guruve nee Kalisu' which touched the hearts of the students. As a part of the celebration, fun games were organized for the teachers by the students. The winners of these games were honoured on stage with prizes adding excitement to the occasion. The students also prepared a beautiful powerpoint presentation dedicated to their teachers. The touching slides filled with pictures and message that brought smiles to the teacher's face. A special moment of the day was the cake cutting ceremony ,where the teachers together cut the cake as a symbol of love and celebration. As a token of love and respect, the cabinet members presented a special gift to each teacher, making the occasion emotional and memorable. After the formal programme, the students were dispersed to their homes with sweets, while the Apostolic Carmel management organized engaging games where teachers participated with great enthusiasm reflected the bond shared within the school community. The winners received the prizes with cheerful smiles. Following the games, the management graciously hosted a special lunch for the teachers. Later all the teachers and sisters gathered together which provided an opportunity for everyone to relax, interact and enjoy each other's company. Meanwhile our Headmistress distributed gifts to all the teachers as a token of appreciation for their dedication . The celebration concluded with a solemn prayer seeking blessings for the teachers and the entire school community.
