ECO CLUB EXHIBITION

The Eco Club of Carmel English School organized a vibrant and informative Eco Exhibition with the theme of environmental awareness and sustainable living. The event began with a welcome board beautifully designed by the students, setting a cheerful and eco-friendly atmosphere. The programme commenced with a short prayer service, invoking God’s blessings for the success of the day. This was followed by a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony by our esteemed guests — Headmistress Sister Dorin Jacques, Sister Maria Lorna, Teacher Ashwini, and Teacher Shobha. The dignitaries were warmly welcomed, and the students offered them refreshments as a gesture of respect and gratitude. The exhibition featured an impressive display of creative models, charts, poems, memory games, a selfie corner, a millets corner, leaf art, and healthy vs. junk food stalls, all prepared enthusiastically by the students. Each exhibit reflected the children’s creativity, awareness, and concern for the environment. The Headmistress, Sisters, and Teachers visited each group with judgement cards, interacting with the students and allotting marks based on their explanation and presentation. The children actively participated, answered questions confidently, and demonstrated excellent teamwork. The day was filled with learning, joy, and inspiration. The exhibition successfully encouraged students to think and act responsibly towards nature. It was indeed a memorable event that showcased the Eco Club’s commitment to promoting environmental consciousness in young minds.
