The 77th Republic day of India was celebrated with great Pride.enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at our School on 26th January. The programme commenced at 8:00 a.m. in the school premises which was beautifully decorated with tricolor flags and national symbols. The program began with a prayer service involking God's blessings upon every one. The prayer highlighted respect.gratitude and Unity it reminds us to thank God for the freedom we enjoy and for giving as a democratic Nation guided by the constitution through the prayer we see peace Wisdom and strength for our country. The celebration begin with the a warm welcome to the chief guest Mr Basavaraju D BRC Nanjangud Sister Maria Aruna AC joint secretary Carmell English Schools. Suster Maria Gracy .Principal Carmel Composite PU College and Sister Dorike Jacques Headmistress Carmel English School. The flag hoisting ceremony is an important part of national celebrations such as Republic Day. The ceremony reminds us of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and the importance of the following the values of the Indian constitution.It inspires students to be responsible citizens,respect national symbols,and work towards the unity and development of the nation.Students sang national anthem,vande matharam. Tr.Ashwini guided the students of 5A to perform cultural programmes such as,prayer service,patriotic dance and a fancy show of leaders of India. The chief guest Mr.Basavaraju highlighted the importance of the Indian costitution, reminding students of their duties of responsibilities as responsible citizen of the Nation. He also spoke about the students of Carmell English School. He Express that Carmel English School is giving positive learning environment and strong values character building discipline and model values the chief guest congratulation staff and students for maintaining such high staff and students for maintaining such high standard and wish the school continued success in shaping the future of our country. The program concluded with a vote of thanks at last all the teachers and students enjoyed the sweets given by headmistress
