    Our school celebrated International women's day on 8th March 2026 with great enthusiasm and respect to honour the achievements and contributions of women in society. The programme was organized to create awareness about women's rights, equality and empowerment. The celebration began with prayer service by our class 2B kids which created peaceful atmosphere, strengthen spiritual values and encourage unity among everyone. The celebration began with a warm welcome to all the dignitaries and staff members. A special assembly was conducted in the auditorium which is beautifully decorated with the pictures of famous personalities of our India with a slogan of "Empowered women Empowered the world". As part of the International women's day celebration the dance performances beautifully showcased the grace, talent and cultural richness of women. As part of the women's day a vibrant dance performance and an exciting fashion show were organized to honor the strength, confidence and achievements of women by class 2A, 2B, 2C and 4C students under the guidance of teachers Bharthi, Sohana Nazia and Tazeen. The fashion was highlighted the different roles of women in society such as doctors, scientists, entrepreneurs and leaders. The show highlighted the journey of women and celebrated their contribution in various profession. The headmistress addressed all the dignitaries as part of the International women’s day celebration a special felicitation ceremony was organized to honor and appreciate the remarkable women in our society. The following women in different fields were felicitated Mrs. Geetha and Mrs. Gangamma, Town Panchayath Nanjangud. Mrs. Kamalamma and Mrs. Sarvani, Government Hospital Nanjangud. Auto driver Mrs. Aishwarya Nanjangud. Asha workers Mrs. Jyothi and Mrs. Noor Jahan Nanjangud. Anganwadi workers Mrs. Savithri Namjangud. Carmel English School Assistants: Mrs. Anitha, Mrs. Maria and Mrs. Mala. The headmistress Sr. Dorine Jacques expressed heartfelt appreciation for their continuous efforts in shaping families and society. The felicitation ceremony was a proud and memorable moment for everyone.
