Teachers’ Orientation Programme -Boost Your Teaching Skills. Carmel English School organized a Teachers Orientation Programme on 30/05/2026 on the theme “Boost Your Teaching Skills” with the aim of enhancing the professional competencies of teachers and equipping them with effective teaching strategies. The programme was organized by Mr. Sunil Chandran (Tre Chiavi Academy) Bangalore, and the resource person for the session was Dr. Rajesh Pershad, Educator and human potential trainer. The programme commenced with a prayer service led by the teachers, invoking God’s blessings upon the gathering. The event was gracefully anchored by Tr. Mary Anthony Bharathi, while the welcome address was delivered by Tr. Deep. As a mark of respect and appreciation, Sr. Maria Smitha AC (Administrator) presented a bouquet to Mr. Sunil Chandran, the organizer of the programme. Sr. Dorin Jacques AC (Headmistress) welcomed the resource person, Mr. Rajesh Pershad, with a bouquet. The programme was formally inaugurated with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Mr. Sunil Chandran, Dr. Rajesh Pershad, Sr. Maria Smitha AC (Administrator), Sr. Dorin Jacques AC (Headmistress), Sr.Maria Neetha(Assistant Head mistress) , and Tr. Shruthi. During the session, Dr. Rajesh Pershad shared valuable insights on enhancing teaching effectiveness and developing essential classroom skills. Through engaging activities, interactive discussions, and practical demonstrations, he emphasized innovative teaching methodologies and the importance of continuous professional growth. The activities conducted during the programme enabled teachers to actively participate and relate the concepts to their classroom experiences. The orientation programme proved to be highly enriching and inspiring for all the teachers. At the conclusion of the session, participation certificates were distributed to all attendees in recognition of their active involvement. The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks rendered by Assistant Teacher Ms. Meghana, expressing gratitude to the organizer, resource person, management, and all the teachers for making the programme a grand success.
