Investiture Ceremony 2026–27 The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2026–27 was celebrated with great dignity and solemnity at Carmel English School, Nanjangud. The ceremony marked the formal entrustment of leadership responsibilities to the newly elected student council and inspired the young leaders to uphold the values and traditions of the institution. The programme commenced with a prayer service, invoking God's blessings upon the newly elected leaders as they prepared to undertake their responsibilities with sincerity and commitment. The occasion was graced by Sr. Maria Smitha AC, Administrator; Sr. Maria Aruna AC, Joint Secretary; Sr. Dorin Jacques AC, Headmistress; and Sr. Neetha Maria AC, Assistant Headmistress. The dignitaries, accompanied by the newly elected student leaders, marched into the auditorium in a ceremonial procession led by the school band, reflecting discipline, unity, and pride. The elected School Pupil Leader and council members were formally invested with badges and sashes by the dignitaries, symbolising the trust and responsibility bestowed upon them. The oath-taking ceremony was the highlight of the event, during which School Pupil Leader Yajath J. Swadi, along with Assistant School Pupil Leaders Vedanth K. and Sakshi M. K., solemnly pledged to discharge their duties with dedication, integrity, and a deep sense of responsibility while upholding the ideals and values of the school. Addressing the gathering, Sr. Maria Smitha AC, Administrator, congratulated the newly elected leaders and encouraged them to lead by example. She emphasised that true leadership is rooted in humility, service, discipline, and compassion, inspiring the students to become responsible citizens and positive role models both within the school and in society. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the successful organisation of the event. The programme came to a close with the singing of the National Anthem, leaving everyone inspired by the spirit of leadership, commitment, and service.
