SCHOOL FEAST – OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL

“Our Lady of Mount Carmel, guide us in faith, inspire us in service, and lead us in love.” Carmel English School celebrated its School Feast in honour of Our Lady of Mount Carmel on 14 July 2026 with deep faith, joy and enthusiasm. The celebration reflected the rich Carmelite spirit of prayer, service, unity and fellowship. The occasion was graced by the presence of the esteemed Chief Guest, Sr. Carmel Ann AC, Administrator, Carmelvale International School, Kesare, Mysuru, accompanied by Sr. Maria Smitha AC, Administrator; Sr. Dorin Jacques AC, Headmistress; and Mr. Sunil Chandran, Founder and Chairman of Tre Chiavi Infotainment, Bengaluru. A meaningful programme was organised in the school auditorium. The celebration began with a solemn prayer service, seeking God’s blessings and the maternal guidance of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. This was followed by a graceful prayer dance presented by the students of Classes VI C and IX B, setting a reverent and joyful tone for the celebration. The students extended a warm welcome to the distinguished guests, followed by a vibrant cultural programme comprising dance, drama and songs. The performances showcased the students’ creativity, confidence and talents while adding colour and joy to the feast celebration. As part of the feast festivities, various competitions had been conducted for the students. The prize distribution ceremony was held to appreciate and honour the winners for their enthusiastic participation and achievements. The moment served as an encouragement for students to nurture their talents and strive for excellence. The Chief Guest, Sr. Carmel Ann AC, addressed the gathering with an inspiring message, encouraging the students to uphold values of faith, kindness, discipline and service in their daily lives. Her words added significance to the celebration and motivated the students to become responsible and compassionate individuals. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks rendered by a student, expressing sincere gratitude to the dignitaries, staff and students for their presence and contribution towards the success of the celebration. The event came to a dignified close with the School Anthem. The School Feast celebration was a memorable occasion that brought the entire Carmel family together in an atmosphere of faith, joy and fraternity, renewing our commitment to the values and spirit of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
