“Growing up is a journey of change, learning, responsibility and self-discovery.” An orientation programme for the teenage boys of the school was conducted on 19 August with the aim of creating awareness about the physical, emotional and personal changes that occur during adolescence. The programme was conducted by Dr. Shridhar Vaidya, who served as the resource person. The programme was held in the presence of our respected Headmistress, Sr. Dorin Jacques, along with all the male staff members. The programme began with a warm welcome by Master Nishanth, a student of the school, who extended greetings to the resource person, Headmistress and all the students. The session focused on important aspects of health and hygiene, personal cleanliness, healthy habits and the various changes experienced during the teenage years. Dr. Shridhar Vaidya addressed the students in a simple and interactive manner, helping them understand the importance of taking care of their physical and emotional well-being during this significant stage of life. The session also provided an opportunity for the students to interact freely with the resource person and clarify their doubts. His friendly and informative approach made the programme meaningful and engaging for the students. As a token of appreciation and gratitude, the resource person was honoured with a bouquet of nuts and dried fruits. The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Master Yajath J Swadi, who expressed gratitude to the resource person, Headmistress and all those who contributed to the successful conduct of the programme. The orientation programme was an informative and enriching experience, empowering the students with greater awareness and encouraging them to adopt healthy, hygienic and responsible habits as they grow into confident young individuals.
